LightLark vs Powerless

People might hate Lightlark and love powerless but at the end of the day one was heavily plagiarized and the other just trope-baited. 🤓☝️ lol this is based on a conversation i had with a friend do not take me too seriously

if you think about it, Megan is a cool written character

I get Miss martian isn't the most well liked character shes like the character in a show where the entire fandom can agree on hating her. however I was rewatching YJ s1-3 and i found her so interesting she stole the identity of a character from a show, (Hello Megan) and has probably manipulated the rest of the team telepathically so they never go against her or question the morally questionable stuff shes done in later seasons (excluding Connor's reaction and her frying that things brain) idk tell me what you guys think.

Ava Chen psychoanalysis

BEFORE READING PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM A FIRST YEAR PSYCH STUDENT, I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL

Ava Chen is a vibrant, ambitious photography student and social media manager known for her sunny, optimistic exterior and fiercely loyal nature, she is the female protagonist of Twisted Love, the first book in the twisted series, an interconnected standalone series by Ana haung.

However this post isn't going to focus on why booktok loves her or how she's an amazing main character, instead it will focus on the repressed trauma that results in her fear of water, referring to Sigmund Freud's theory on repression which is seen as the cornerstone of psychoanalysis.

In simple terms the mind buries painful traumatic memories as a defense mechanism as seen in the book where Ava remembers exactly why she's afraid of water the memory of her father attempting to murder her was repressed by her mind in order to protect itself.

Now the interesting part is the big question of why is she drawn to Alex who is the cliché morally grey grumpy MMC, the attachment theory coined by Mary Ainsworth (1985) Ava shows traits of anxious-preoccupied attachment (referring to the book where she is described as a little miss sunshine people pleaser) while Alex is the textbook dismissive-attachment type, he blocks out his emotions and relies solely on himself. (due to him witnessing the murder of his family as a child)

Ava is drawn to Alex because his emotional distance triggers her anxious attachment system so the push-and-pull dynamic feels intense and familiar and his intense protectiveness becomes a safety net.

Opinion on Ai

"I dont have time to write a book, I'll just have Ai write it for me—" dont bother to write at all then. Ai written books are not books they're trashy summaries of a story with dialogue, I'd rather just stare at my phone all day then read an ai 'written' book.

Raven in YJ S5

this is based on a late night thought process and maybe too much fanfiction, if they add Raven into YJ would they change her personality and backstory? like maybe make her a normal teen/young adult who gets hit with her powers and heritage later in the season, make her bubbly-ish and nervous like how the writers made BB more mature and serious than his TT counterpart. However, I do hope they dont add her into the story this is soley a theoretical headcanon.

I love the audiobook/text to speech feature

I dont care what some of yall say, Even if its monotone and boring especially for romantic/smut scenes its the funniest thing ever to play in the background while i study and confuse the shit out ot my siblings, because I am a first year psych student so instead of hearing about the different theories on youtube they're hearing a monotone recitation of a smut scene😭🤣
