I read about this switch getting broken easily if precautions aren't taken, but I didn't know that until after taking my controls off. I can see the rubber is gone. The button sticks out just not much. Ive got a few more steps before I'm ready to install my new bars and want to order one if needed. 1999 softail.
Im doing some work on this 99' that I inherited. The lenses on this assembly are starting to separate, and I would like to go with the tombstone style. Any of the lights ive seen online are led. Do I need to do anything to run the leds or just wire them up?
Wife noticed this noise. I took a look and spray tested the belt and pulleys. It is due for an oil change, but its not low and the oil looks more golden than I expected. Here is a sound clip of the noise. If I could get an idea of what to look at next, that would be very helpful. The sound it slightly more noticeable on the passenger side of the bay.
I just discovered that the evo softail I inherited has a lowering kit already, but im unsure of the process to go lower.
