Bluenique Guide to the easiest Misriahs and more

There are several "blunique" weapons in the game that come from the secured resource hack boxes on Perimeter and Dire Marsh. These guns have static weapon mods that can't be removed and a bunch of bonus stats on top of it, just like the gold unique weapons. The bonus stats are not all known, but they are significant! The blunique Misriah "Misery Disciple" gets 50% bonus strafe speed for example. The blunique Conquest "Siege Engine" gets bonus fire rate and is better than a lot of gold weapons, including the gold conquest. The unique Hardline "Flexline HPR" is crazy stable and has improved handling (and it's way better than regular Hardline).

So where do you get them?

Misriah - AI Uplink (Dire Marsh) - faster strafe speed

Conquest - Overflow (Perimeter) - faster fire rate

BR33 Volley Rifle - Hauler (Perimeter)

Longshot - Algae Ponds (Dire Marsh)

Hardline - North Relay (Perimeter)

Magnum - Station - extra zoom

Overrun - South Relay (Perimeter)

Ares - Maintenance (Dire Marsh)

Copperhead - Bio Research (Dire Marsh)

I'm not certain on the drop rate, but it seems to be in the 25-33% range from my experience so far.

There's also the purple unique Longshot "Tilt-Shift LS" which is a very cool sniper with a purple Cold Vigilance Scope which snipers can't normally get. It feels more like a scout rifle but it will still down a purple shielded runner in two headshots. It doesn't drop from hack boxes though - it comes from the pinnacle strongbox after beating the secret boss in Complex, and it also seems to be around 25-33% drop rate from that box.

Not everyone will love all these bluniques, but if you ever go by AI Uplink and see that there's a hackbox in the west building, it's definitely worth checking if the Misriah spawned.

If anyone can confirm any of the locations where these or others drop I can update the post to reflect it. Thanks and cheers

👋 Welcome to r/MarathonGuidebook - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

Hey everyone! I'm u/LeageofMagic, a founding moderator of r/MarathonGuidebook.

This is our new home for all things related to improving at Marathon (the video game by Bungie). We're excited to have you join us! Marathon is a tough game with no shortage of secrets, hidden mechanics, complex pve objectives, etc. Our goal is to create a space where veterans can help each other learn and also make it easier for new players to get their footing so the player base continues to grow.

What to Post
Guides, tips, tricks, or questions about Marathon. Which weapons and mods to look out for, strategies for unlocking vaults or farming specific items, efficient ways to progress factions, useful map knowledge, and how to succeed in pvp engagements, and understanding the meta game are all topics that people are interested in.

Why not r/Marathon ?
The main sub is a decent enough forum, but some folks just want a reliable source of useful information. What separates r/MarathonGuidebook from the main sub is that we aren't going to allow complaint posts, memes, fan art, etc. This is a more focused subreddit for learning and improving at the game as it exists. The old mantra from r/CrucibleGuidebook is "We play the game we have," and we're sticking to that philosophy here. There are lots of places where we can post complaints and wish lists, but you won't find those here except in the weekly sticky post.

How to Get Started

  1. Post something today! Even a simple question can spark a great conversation.
  2. If you know someone who would love this community, invite them to join.
  3. Interested in helping out? We're still looking for moderators, so feel free to reach out to me to apply.

Thanks for being here at the start of Marathon Guidebook. Hopefully this sub will continue to grow into something people find useful for years to come, as Crucible Guidebook has done for Destiny.

How to force Bungie to make Destiny 3

Step 1: Give them no more money by boycotting their only live game

Step 2: Sony shuts down Bungie because both of their games are unprofitable

Step 3: ???

Step 4: Bungie makes Destiny 3

We can make this dream a reality boys. I figure it will only take a few months before they make the announcement. We just gotta bleed them dry. Investors love that kind of thing.
