Recipe advice please: chickpea eggplant soup
Hello, I had a surgery done inside my mouth and can eat only soft foods and liquids for awhile. This is a soup I made inspired by the Lebanese eggplant chickpea stew or soup.
I feel something is missing. What would you add? What is the secret ingredient?
Ingredients:
Chicken stock
Eggplants
Cooked chickpeas (same volume as the cooked eggplant)
Big spoon of cumin
4 gloves of garlic
4 onions
Spicy paprika
Salt
Hot Pimenton de la vera (smoked paprika) sprinkled on top
