Once you have initial access, what do you do afterwards?

I find it hard to privilege escalate, but first I do enumeration and discovery, later I set persistence, then the privilege escalation and more persistence (I think that's the correct order)

Anyways I want you to share opinions, techniques and tips so I can improve in cybersecurity.

What does the sub think about the Thinkpad P15v 2?

I'm planning on buying a thinkpad and I stumbled across this one.

I'm gonna use it for programming, some light gaming(but not the main purpose) and I want something beefy. I know this one is overkill for what I'm going to do but I want it like that.

I found one on eBay for ~400 dollars that has 32 GB of ram and 512 of storage.

Edit: I forgot to put my budget, 800 outside of my country and 1200 in my country tho everything is overpriced. expect double or triple the regular price. the ThinkPad I found is refurbished, with some scratches that don't annoy me at all.

CPU: Intel Core i7 11800H

GPU: Nvidia T600

I didn't know there where more options for the GPU and CPU.

My mouse is lagging and my ethernet is weird)?

The title is very self explanatory but I've been experiencing some issues since I first connected a VR headset to my PC, I uninstalled the meta horizon link app including the registry keys, the firewall rules it changed and Yadda Yadda Yadda, and it fixed it for a few hours but the problems came back.

The exact problem with the ethernet connection is that when I play games like NBA2K26 i get a connection error and it cannot connect to the 2K servers, I've also tried FC 26 and it had the same issue, I refunded the game so I can't test it unless I buy it again, I didn't refund it bc of this issue tho.

One of my friends had to unfriend me

Not getting much into detail, idk if he let's me post or say what happened to him but he was a pretty good online friend, it wasn't my fault (I think, he could have just lied to stay away from me) but I'm sad anyways since he was the only one who understood my situation and tried to fix it for me 😔

I want to address a potentially unsafe subreddit

Hello, I want to warn people about this subreddit I found while investigating predators.

First things first, all teenager subs are really dangerous, they're like candy for all the predators and creepy people on Reddit, but lately, despite the good moderation the subreddit is providing in terms of deleting comments, this sub is having a huge concentration of pedophilia.

The subreddit is r/onlyteenagersallowed

It's not the worst I have seen but it's definitely bad so that's why I'm doing this post.

I will attach some examples of what is happening.

The first screenshot is the post of a 19 year old woman, it's just a basic selfie.

The second one is all the deleted comments from probably creepy people.

Third screenshot shows that a user active on that community is also active in NSFW subs, that isn't instantly incriminating, but that says that he/she isn't a teenager between the ages of 13 and 19 that the subreddit requires you to be.

Fourth screenshot is the deleted comment of that user.

I'm not saying the person I showed there is a creep, I don't have proof that he is but it's just an example. You can check out the sub and you'll see real creeps seeking people there, which is very messed up and unfortunate.

This is an awareness post, but I'll leave some tips to stay safe on this kind of subs.

  1. Don't post selfies of yourself and if you do, do not expose yourself a lot. VERY basic stuff here but a lot of people doesn't seem to understand this.

  1. Do not trust anyone to a hundred percent until you personally meet them. Even if you are sure the other person is someone your age, or someone that isn't a creep, remember you're on the internet.

  1. Acknowledge that this type of places aren't safe. This is also a basic one, but it's really important too. A lot of teenager communities on Reddit and the internet in general are always targeted by creepy people.

  1. Be yourself and have your limits. Know your limits, if a person constantly asks for something you don't want to share, don't share it.

Stay safe y'all.
