Long story short made a deal with my little brother. He’s about to go to college and needs a car to travel two hours away. I had an extra car and as his big brother made a deal with him that I would let him use the car and when he got his trust fund money, he would pay me 4000 in October. One day after he got the car he let my mom use the car and someone crashed into her. She did use the car while it had no insurance. The other person that crashed into her was at fault now the insurance wants to pay 8000. I did not give him the title and did not intend on giving him the title until he gave me the money from his trust fund that he will get in October. So the insurance claim will be paid to me because the car was still in my name. What would you do if you were in the situation?

I had previous hail damage on my car it was just wrecked and will be totaled through other persons insurance. How much will that hail damage affect my total cash payout? Hail damage on all of the car but no super huge dents. I could buy that car privately in good condition for around 10k in my market.

They crashed from pulling out while not heading to traffic. There at fault. My front left driver side bumper, headlight, front quarter panel, hood, and windshield smashed and mangled. And airbags deployed on both sides driver and passenger. They are picking up the car and evaluating it.
