Lucy is rhe most affectionate cay I've known, and a cold blooded murderer.

Moved from an apartment to rural. Today she got a mole, i watched her play with a mouse the otther day she didnt hurt, i swear the mouse came back for more. I try to keep her in, but she wants out sooo bad. So I let her roam for an hour or so and I can see where shes at on the tracker(mostly). Dead mouse on the other side of the house last week. She brought my roomies kids a live snake, they loved it fortunately. A few birds too, unfortunately.

But she also cuddles so hard, sleeps with me, non trained shoulder rides, cuddles the roomies too. Nuttier than squirrel poo and I love her to pieces.

His absolute favorite spot is my lap, and he is Ferdinand.

When i get home, he follows me and does his signature tiny little meow, leads me to my room and 'yells' at me to sit in my lap.

His sister Lucy is tuxedo grey, she is less subtle and sleeps on my face whenever possible.

What are these little plastic chunks?

My buddy just got a Niagra 35, he has last years survey did not take it for a sail trial. These little plastic bits are all over the deck. I was very confused but then they started kinda flying out when we raised the main sail. What is it? Is he hosed?

Is it normal for cats to scratch collars?

They were apartment cats, but I moved kinda rural and one loves to go out so I got a tractive collar. She scratches at it a few times a day but never did before, and ita been maybe 2 months? Or is this kinda like fixing your pants when they are uncomfortable?

Sometimes I feel like its too easy to take good pictures when sailing.

I'm not complaining.

Any tips for sailing with cats?

I plan on going full liveaboard with my two cats, any advice on keeping them safe when at sail would be appreciated. Especially solo sailing.

My friend keeps a little penguin in her fridge filled with baking soda. I opened it up to this.

Round Saltspring Race, my third time ever sailing.

106 boats, 14 in our division, pretty sure we were 3rd to last in allll the boats that finished but it sure was fun. Took 16 hours and I loved all of it, even the parts I hated.
