What is this animal?

I’m not sure if this is the proper place to ask this, so please don’t beat me up if it isn’t. 🙏🏻

This critter has been showing up a few times in the past couple weeks. We don’t know if it’s a skinny fox, a skinny stray dog, or a skinny coyote.

Its tail is not bushy like I’d expect a fox tail to be, but it’s got fox-looking ears. Can y’all please help us solve this mystery? Thank you kindly!

Edit to add: we live in coastal South Carolina in the U.S.

Back porch table before we pressure-washed the pollen off last month.

Look at all those cute little coonie prints! ❤️

One of our regulars enjoying sandwiches.

I forgot about this video we took last month. I love to see how much they enjoy their snacks, especially this time of year with all the hungry, worn-out mommas!

Best non-profit place to donate like-new clothing

Hello, I have some like-new women’s clothing (and possibly men’s—I’ll get my husband to go through his closet!) that I’d like to donate to a place that does the most good for people in need.

I’ve heard some things about Goodwill that give me pause (many items ending up in landfills, charging way more than they should for a thrift store, etc.).

I’ve heard great things about ECCO and Salvation Army. Are there any places y’all would recommend? If they can pick up from my house, that’s great, as I work nights and sleep days, but I’m willing to drive on my days off if it’s for a truly good organization. Thank you!

My backyard coons part 2

The film was too long and I’d flipped the camera to horizontal, so here’s the second part.

I’ve had folks asking about the food. This night, my sister had a dozen out-of-date eggs so I boiled them and tossed them out to the coons. Also was sone leftover chicken bog my daughter cooked that had turned, and also some outdated patient sandwiches.

I’m an ER nurse and we give sandwiches to patients. When they expire we can’t give them to people, so they get brought home for the animals. There’s even a little drawer in our fridge labelled “raccoon snacks” 😄

My backyard a couple months ago!

Part 1: It’s not always this busy, but this was in February when we had a ton of them after a freak cold spell. We also get deer and possums. In the summertime, they all come up with their cute little ones.
