My Current SLR Collection

The current state of my SLR collection. I managed to get a couple of these for under $10.

  • Canon AE-1
  • Nikon F (later Apollo model)
  • Minolta SRT 201 (self-timer was jammed)
  • Pentax Spotmatic (I used to have the Asahi version with a clip on light meter at some point as well)
  • Zeiss Ikon Contaflex (Super B)
  • Olympus OM 10
  • Zenit E (Was working when I got it but the shutter ribbon came unglued, at least I can use the lens on the Spotmatic)

The official camera of the 1980 Olympics

Not sure how they didn't pick an Olympus for the official camera of the Olympics but the Canon AE-1 is still a great camera. I found this one at a Buddhist/antique store for $35. The case is pretty beat up but aside from the front battery door it is like new.

The Canon P is one of my favorite shooters. A 1.4 for it is definitely on my list.

Some Olmypuses In My Collection

I've picked these up over the last couple of years at flea markets, antique stores, and craigslist (the pair of XAs was from a really cool guy who traveled around the world with them).

A different OM10 was actually my first SLR ever over 20 years ago, so I was pretty excited to find one in the wild with the manual adapter and the 1.4 lens. The infinity mini was a flea market find for $5 and is almost as sharp as the XA2.
