Brookswood is the best neighbourhood in Langley.... imo

Just coming here to give my thoughts on Brookswood. After living in Walnut Grove and Murrayville I moved to Brookswood 5 months ago and I LOVE IT. Literally the best neighbourhood I have lived in. I love the massive trees and the amount of nature and greenery and not to mention the many parks within a couple min walk.

I've never felt more safe letting the kids out to play on the street this summer. Very family freindly.

Anyone else move to Brookswood recently and absolutely love it?

Most lit/chaotic place to watch Canada game tomorrow on Granville?

Besides the PNE amphitheater it seems like Granville is the most energetic place to watch the Canada game tomorrow?

If one were to go to Granville to watch, which pub/bar should I go to and how early should I get there?

I haven't been to the PNE Amphitheater yet either, would you go Granville or PNE for tomorrows game?

Safety in El Salvador/San Salvador in 2025 for tourists?

I know this question have probably been asked many times however I didn't see many recent posts regarding the topic.

As of December 2025, how is the situation in San Salvador specifically? I am someone looking to visit, I have visited a few other countries in the area such as Guatemala in the past and felt very safe.

I see on some country safety advisories about El Salvador that due to the state of exception there has been times the police/government have arrested or detained foreign citizens with no due process.

Would love to get some info from locals, I plan on visiting next month and will be staying in san salvador.

Also will I be able to get by with english in San Salvador? I don't speak spanish at all. I was fine in Guatemala.
