The sadness of being pushed out of your city

I know this has been hapening to low income people for generations.

I grew up middle class in nyc. Lived most of my life here have a job I like with meaning making just about 6 figures. My family and friends are here.

My lease just went from 2800 to 3500. Cant afford it so moving higher uptown.

How do you not feel disgust for these tech workers moving here making 200k base salary? Posers being bank rolled?

Feeliing sad and angry

EDIT: YES TRANSPLANTS YOUR FUCKING UP MY VIBE AND GREEDY LANDLORDS TOO

Rugby in McCarren Park?

Anyone know if that pickup group is still alive? Or when they play?

Saw Brooklyn RFC is having their home opener there in a couple weeks.

Thanks!

Takuya Nakamura @ Vermont theatre Friday night

Wow. Never would've expected that the most refreshing set i've seen all year would be from a 60 yo Japanese man. Vibes we're great, super diverse crowd, made some new friends. Anyone else was there?
