I have a Lectric XP 3.0 and have had it for about 3 years now. Originally, it was used very lightly by my dad before he let me use it. For example, he would ride at a maximum of around 15 mph and occasionally tow us when we were tired.

Then, we stopped using it for about 2 years. After that, I started using it a lot more and riding it much harder. The maximum speed I got using throttle only was about 21 mph because I’m fairly light (around 110 pounds). I was also riding with my friends pretty aggressively, often using full throttle and PAS 5 (around 27 mph), braking frequently since we live in a suburban area, and doing pulls and hard accelerations.

The bike has absolutely no modifications besides the seat and a water bottle holder, and the total mileage is only 548 miles.

The bike does not turn on anymore. It was hot while I was riding it, so I let it rest for about 10 minutes while it was still turned on. Then, I decided to turn it off manually by pressing and holding the power button, not by taking the key out. After that, it never turned on again.

I don’t know what I should get or buy to fix it. However, I did notice that the wires going from the connector to the controller looked duller, wider, and bigger than the wires past the small connector. I also smelled a very faint burning smell, and it looked like some of the tape on the bike’s connector area had come loose and had developed very small bubbles.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
