I am a huge film buff. Just recently I've watched Tenet and it's amazing. I tend to categorize great movies if they are rewatch worthy over time.

With that being said, I remember an account during the death of Carl Jung. My memory doesn't serve me right as to who wrote or said, so I'm going to butcher what happened.

What happened during his death was that the tree that he either loved to sit under or watch a lot from his home was struck by lightning.

I see it as if Jung's essence got absorbed to the ether at that time. That he still gives us new myths to see ourselves through electronics (electricity, get it?) Such as TV, Phones and the Internet.

Having watched Tenet and then reading a journal I've had for 10+ years made me think that the me from the past is still influencing me right now. Just how Jung is recursively influencing us through his works of his. What do you guys think this synchronicity? Valid or not?

I've always been curious about this subject. Also bonus question:

Are esotericism and the occult the same thing?
