I rented a basic Hetzner VPS plus 1TB of external storage. Using Gemini, I installed Navidrome for music, Jellyfin for movies and TV shows, and Kavita for books. I also installed a few bots on Telegram, linked to silly Python scripts. I need a guide or advice on how to best set it up and make it as secure as possible. I'd also like advice on other things to add and things I could do with it, since I'd like to get the most out of it.
Hey guys, me and 3 friends (we're 24yo students from Italy) are trying to organize a trip to Norway between November and December. The main goal is to rent a campervan for a week starting from Tromsø and just drive around chasing the Northern Lights. Since we're students on a budget and flying out of Rome or Naples, does anyone have any hacks to save on flights or know the best routes to get up there without spending a fortune? Also, none of us have ever driven a camper in the Arctic winter, so we really need some reality checks on what to expect with icy roads, heating, keeping water from freezing, and if there are specific rental companies we should use or avoid. We have about 7 days, so we're looking for itinerary ideas around Tromsø to maximize our chances for the aurora and maybe see some cool landscapes during the few hours of daylight. Lastly, kind of a delicate question, but we'd love to just chill and smoke some weed while watching the aurora in the middle of nowhere. Is it actually possible to find it up there, or is it way too risky and strict? Any honest advice on that or the trip in general would be awesome. Thanks!
