Can you reglaze Corelle?

I have lots of Corelle stuff from the '80s or '90s. The previous owners exclusively used a dishwasher. Most of the damage is on the edges. There's a lot of peeling / chipping of the surface on the edges of the cups and bowls. Otherwise they're fine. No cracks, and no peeling / chipping inside the vessels. Even the patterns are totally intact.

Is it possible to reglaze?

Pavilion / pergola question

ls there such a thing as a cantilever (two-legged) pavilion or pergola that is above-ground freestanding, or isn't anchored into the ground / cement? The structure would be like this C-shaped table, or this slightly more structured one.

Bent cane wood (non-woven rattan) creaking question

Does this type of furniture creak? From doing lots of online research, I know that wicker (weave) will always creak but I wasn't able to get an answer for bent cane wood.

Some have a sort of twine wrapped around the beams. I wonder if these create additional creaking.

Fireplace guard rail / fencing that won't get hot

What kind of guard rail / fence won't get too hot? This is for an animal who really loves warmth and is unaware of the dangers of heat and fire. Somehow they're able to lean directly against HOT heaters despite having short fur.

Whether they feel the burn or not, I want to keep them at a distance for safety. Gently pulling them away and trying to teach them to not sit so close has been unsuccessful. They sit extremely close to the wood fireplace too, and don't flinch at sparks when the door is opened. They're really unaware of the danger.

I worry that a guard rail will become scalding hot without being placed far away from the heat source. The animal WILL lean against this.

I'm also considering an electric fireplace but don't know what configuration will ensure pet safety. I don't want it high up in a wall but it seems like that may be for the best. I still want fencing around it though.

Are horizontal stripes on walls (physical planks / panels) fatiguing?

I've seen several examples in online pictures only. I can never get a good sense of how they actually look. Sometimes it looks like it could be a great design choice, sometimes it looks too distracting or dizzying. The latter impression could be due to the photo's image processing and other interior design / decor factors (like furnishings, paint job and colors used) so I'm even less sure of what I see. Photos only show small parts of the paneled walls so I also can't tell how it looks beyond a tiny corner of the room.

Let's say I have a small attic I want to use the panels in. The angled ceiling and unusual dimensions seem to make the space a good candidate for this. But since it's a small space with a low ceiling, would the long lines feel claustrophobic? Do they tend to produce eye strain or vertigo / motion sickness in some people? Are they subtle enough those are never an issue?

I want to hear personal experiences from people who've seen it up close.

What was the name of HD's old interior decorating magazine?

I remembered it up until a few years ago when I was able to look it up and even find a partial archive on the website. I can't remember the name now or find the archive again.

Does this shape exist for bath tubs?

The picture is of a common style of bathroom sink. It's not too far off from common tub shapes but I haven't been able to find an example in bath tub form even after hours of searching. Does this shape exist for bath tubs?

Is an angled garden bay window impractical? I couldn't find any example online

There's the angled bay window which is like a trapezoid box and there's the garden bay window which is like a rectangular box with a slanted top. I thought to combine the two (angled sides and top, front faces straight ahead) and spent an hour searching for examples or mentions online. It doesn't seem to be a thing.

Each respective window type is common and seems relatively simple so I thought a combination would be as well, or at least exist. Are there variables that make this unfeasible? Is it just not desirable? Has anyone seen one?

I am having really bad luck shopping with Canadian retailers for electronics. My most recent problem is with Red One Music, a store located in Quebec. I looked up reviews on Reddit and found only two, both negative, from one and two years ago but in a different context from my situation. There were a handful of people here who responded to my question about AV Shop before, so maybe there are people who can talk about Red One.

Have you had problems buying from this store? How did you get a resolution?

The salespeople have been quick to respond prior to my order but now they aren't. I had exchanged several messages (product questions, price match inquiries, confirming payment methods, etc.) with a couple of sales reps in the days leading up to my purchase. The online order and Interac payment were made on the 20th. The salesperson I was in conversation with confirmed receiving the payment soon after on the same day. I saw that the payment was successful at the time of purchase, and my banking history today confirms this, plus no record of a refund.

Yesterday I got a notice through email that said my order was canceled because my payment was denied, and everything had been refunded. Again, I have not gotten a refund and the payment was successful and confirmed by the store over a week ago.

It looks like a legitimate business so this issue seems very strange and concerning.
