People don't believe me when I say I'm a very light sleeper.

My gf convinced me to get a smartwatch, and I found out it has a sleep tracker, so I thought I'd give it a go as I've always slept poorly. I wake up frequently through the night (2-3 times most nights,; which does not properly register on this app for some reason), and used to have terrible bouts of insomnia; like, I'd go days without sleep sometimes. I've tried melatonin, sleeping pills, meditation, sleep masks, ear plugs, noise machines, guided sleeps, and even changing aspects of my lifestyle. The insomnia isn't as bad the last few years, but I still sleep poorly. I'll be 35 this year, and I'm getting really tired of being tired all the time. Any suggestions are welcome.

How do I keep this looking clean?

First time having to caulk around toilets on something other than tile or linoleum, and as you can see, I'm having quite a time keeping it from smearing way out along the texture of the floor. Would spraying it with soapy water before I smooth it help with this? I typically just use lukewarm water and a rubber caulking guide or my finger if the gaps are not huge. Also, I dont know that it matters, but I'm an apprentice carpenter, not a plumber.
