how is the BSDS major for landing internships in tech

hii everyone, I just got accepted as a transfer student for Behavioral and Social Data Science (BSDS). I really love the focus of this major and want to do research but I also need internships. Since this major is in COLA, how is the recruiting scene for it? How does it actually compare to the SDS or CS majors when it comes to landing roles (ml/swe/ds) in tech companies?

please give me any insight!!

vanderbilt cs or ut austin ds (transfer undergrad)

Just got accepted to UT as a Behavioral and Social Data Science major (in-state, waiting on aid) and a few weeks ago got into Vanderbilt for Computer Science on a full-ride.

i cannot choose, please give me your opinion !! If you are CS at vandy please just give me any insight!!

More context: I live in Austin, so I'm very familiar with UT/ATX, and my sibling goes there. I care a lot about my career, and also like many in tech, my main goals are securing internships and a full-time job right out of college.
