HELP! Write a guide for Creatures 1996

(I don't speak English; my native language is Russian. I'm writing this post through a translator. The game isn't popular in Russia, and there are no tutorials in my language. Only Reddit.)

I was able to download the game; I've never played Creatures before. I don't even understand the mechanics here. How do I pet it? How do I feed it? Where does the food come from? How do I scold it? How do I punish it?

I was able to raise Norn, he was born, I paused the game, and then turned it off.

I'm an inexperienced mother, help!

(I also don't like his appearance, but you can't choose your children.)

I create art with Norm

Hi! I'm an artist looking to create some art based on the 1996 game Creatures.

Please post any close-up screenshots or files of Norn you have under this post. (Be warned: I may redesign these creatures, embellish them, or come up with my own.)

If this post gets a lot of likes (even a few), I'll post the results on this forum.

Favorite moments in the book and movie related to Colonel Brandon!

(I do not speak English, I write through a translator)

Hello to all who are awake.

Colonel Brandon is my favorite character... in all the literature I've read. He's the number one green flag. And I want you to leave under this post any moments related to this character from movies and books that touched you. You can also write your own personal headcounts about him or fanfiction that got you hooked.

Personally, I am happy to be in the reality where my most beloved actor Alan Rickman plays the role of the most beloved man in literature, I consider it a great success.

It upsets me that there was no duel between Colonel Brandon and Willoughby in the 1995 film, alas. But I'm glad that there was no last Willoughby dialogue (At the moment when Marianne is ill) To me, this dialogue between Eleanor and Willoughby seems pointless, and I kept waiting for Brandon to arrive with Mrs. Dashwood (and maybe strangle Willoughby), but it wasn't in the book.

I like that the surrounding characters in the novel present Brandon as a "cold" and little emotional person, but this is fundamentally wrong and he proves the opposite with his whole appearance. For example, there is an episode in the book where Marianne tries to cheer up Eleanor, but suddenly begins to cry. (This is after Willoughby broke her heart, but before she got sick). And Brandon, for some reason, got up and walked over to her. And I was thrilled at that moment. He wanted to comfort her, but he was embarrassed! Oh my God!

There are also interesting moments in the film (I don't really like the series), for example, where Brandon reads poetry to Marianne or gives a piano. Or the colonel's first appearance! Where he hears Marianne singing!

I also read Amanda Granger's good fanfiction "The Diary of Colonel Brandon.", I advise everyone to read it, the only thing I don't like about this work is that Brandon's name is James, I don't think it suits him. I prefer the Christopher option. And I swear I've heard him called Christopher Brandon somewhere, but I don't remember where exactly.

What do you think Colonel Brandon was doing in India?

Jane Austen's novel "Sense and Sensibility" does not touch on... "male themes." For example, she does not describe exactly how the duel between Colonel Brandon and John Willoughby took place, nor does she describe Brandon's service in India. Although I would be interested to know what our beloved man went through.

There is also Amanda Granger's fanfiction "Colonel Brandon's Diary", which describes Brandon's journey to India, but it's more like everyday details (soldiers don't die from wounds, but from the heat, or he can't get used to the local food)

If anyone has any ideas on this topic, please share.

(For example, what is the probability that Brandon participated in the campaign against Haider Ali? Our man definitely has post-traumatic stress disorder).

English is not my native language, so I use a translator.

I do not believe in the marriage of Colonel Brandon and Marianne.

(Hello! I am an artist student, now I am preparing for exams. I hope someone responds to this post, because I have a headache and I want to communicate.)

I know that I am not alone in this opinion, but I do not believe in a happy marriage between Marianne and Colonel Brandon at all. In the novel itself and in the film, this couple does not look realistic.

I heard that when the novel "Sense and sensibility" was published, the public of the past also criticized this outcome. To many, the couple Eleanor and Colonel Brandon seemed more realistic (I don't think so).

To be honest, I don't like the character Marianne, she made me very angry, especially in the books, and I think Brandon deserves a lot more. I won't hide it, I'm in love with the colonel. I have not only read the novel, watched movies (various), but also read Amanda Granger's fan fiction "the diary of Colonel Brandon". This is the best man in all English literature and I believe that he deserves to have a woman next to him after all the hardships of life who will be calm, who will idolize and take care of him.. Just because he deserves it.

I'm 100% sure that Marianne is the type of wife who then tells her children, "I had a better boyfriend before your father, but I chose your dad out of pity." She won't appreciate him.

(I'm clearly missing in this novel.)

I want to discuss this topic.

I also want to talk about why Eleanor is not suitable for Colonel Brandon and why it so happened that our ideal man did not pay attention to her. More! It was mentioned in the novel that Mrs. Jennings wanted to set Brandon up with her daughter Charlotte, but it didn't work out. And I wanted to speculate why? (Except that Charlotte is shallow and optimistic.)
