So a friend of mine is looking to join a summer internship program in Digital Marketing or UI/UX design. Her degree is in STEM but not tech. Though she is a fast learner and very versatile. Someone who just loves learning new things.

I suggested her to not waste the summers and do join some internship program and then it became my responsibility to find her a good one.. lol

I have realized that marketing skills are the most important in life. Not just work life but personal life as well. Like selling a product or an idea is a skill, selling your personal ideas, thought, perspectives is the same.

So I am a techie engineer and good at my work but have no marketing skills. Lately i've been realizing i really need to build good marketing and business skills.

Any suggestions where to start?
I'm thinking of starting by reading some good books or maybe having a talk session with someone

AI engineer here with ~3 years of experience. I’m exploring a startup idea in Pakistan, in the audit/contractor/payment verification space and wanted to talk to someone experienced in business, operations, enterprise sales, consulting, etc.

I’m not looking for a co-founder right now... mainly just someone experienced, and actualy knows Pakistani systems too well - who can give me a realistic perspective on the business side, how this industry works in practice, what I might be missing, and how to approach it properly.
