What is the overall initial quality assessment of the 2026 Palisade?

National Highway Safety Traffic already has 75 complaints which is excessive at this point but at least half are related to the seat issue. The 2024 model has 350 complaints which is staggering yet people seem to be happy with them on reviews and in this forum.

Also what are your thoughts on the acceleration? Its seems smooth but sluggish. I then check 0-60 online at its 8.8 seconds which is one of the worst I've seen in this class. How is the passing power once you're cruising? I don't want to beat someone off the line but freeway merging and freeway passing is important.

Service advisor recommended we get rid of our Mazda CX 90

We asked if we should get the extended warranty and I was shocked that they recommend we get rid of our 2024 vehicle.

What is your takeaway on this -proceed with getting an extended warranty, roll the dice or trade in?

We’ve only dealt with recalls and a handful of nuisance issues nothing major at this point.

Dealer wants to charge a $200 diagnostic fee for vehicle under warranty.

I’ve only found SSPD6 which addresses the rough shifting that’s only for a very small group of vehicles with a build date prior to 2024.

I can’t seem to find any other official service bulletin or campaign that addresses the 1st gear rough shifting issue for build dates 2024 later. All I’m finding loop is a generic callout for PCM and TCM recalibration.

dealer is saying there are no open technical service bulletins, or campaigns therefore, they would have to run the diagnostic.

i’ve been saving informative pre and post op surgery posts but today I found an excellent, very thorough comment from someone buried in an unrelated post.

Anyone willing to share their saved most informative pre and post surgery posts or comments?

I suspect many of you have life insurance.

What type of policy do you have and are you willing to share your annual range rate you pay for both you and your spouse?

We’re in a T80 policy thinking now is the time to check out a 20 year term before we the age where premiums aren’t affordable.
