Hello everyone I unlocked damascus camo a few days back and it was worth it. So I thought I'd make a guide for fellow cod players out there to make their grind easier. So I recommend you start with the melee weapons first which is the riot shield and the combat knife and you can ignore dual katanas and kali sticks because they do not require gold for damascus. So for the perks use cold blooded, restock and armped. For lethals use throwing knives and tacticals is stuns because they are the most OP thing in the game. Whenever there is an enemy in the vicinity use those stuns on them and they won't be able move or shoot properly atleast for a minute or more. Use that time to charge them with riot shield or knife. Another tip don't run directly into the line of fire of enemies because they can still shoot you down while they are stunned because they try to be too oversmart and some will try to drop shot and jump constantly like a rabbit. Throw the stun and wait for 2 seconds to impact the enemy properly with the stun and then bash them with your riot shield or slash them quickly with your knife. Play tdm and domination because there are lots of bots playing these modes. Do not go to hardpoint or hq because all the sweats are there and they know well how to counter riot shield players. It's gonna take a lot of hours and it will be frustrating as the most of time enemies might stick you with thermites, molotovs or semtexes. But have patience you're gonna surely make it and never lose hope. Particularly if you get smaller maps like shipment then it makes it a little easier. After completing the melee weapons you can start with the launchers and there a re four of them. This time I recommend playing objective modes like HQ, hardpoint and domination because for each of them you need to get attacker and defender kills. Remember eliminate those who are trying to capture the objective or rushing enemies who are trying to capture a point while you're defending the point. For the rest part focus on shooting down all sorts of killstreaks like uav,vtols, choppers, counter uav and so on. The Pila and the joker are fully automatic so you can shoot down any kind of streaks with them but for the rpg and the strela since they aren't automatic is liitle complex. For them don't try to shoot uavs with them because it's a wastage of time. Easy targets are personal radars and counter uavs. Once you are done with the launchers start with the lmgs. You can ignore the fin, bruen and holger lmg and complete the gold challenge on each lmgs. Next go to sniper rifles and so for the snipers you can ignore the Rytec sniper. Also the double kills are little bugged with the snipers so make sure you get two kills within 5 seconds of each other. The time gap between the two kills should be least. Next do the marksman rifles where you can ignore the sks, spr and the crossbow. Next start with the shotguns where you can ignore the vlk rogue and the JAK 12. Next start with the smgs where you can ignore the striker, iso and fennec. Next go for the handguns where you can ignore the renetti pistol. Final category should be the assault rifles which take a hell amount of time to complete. For the assault rifles you can ignore the as val, an94, amax, grau and the ram 7. There you go! That's the complete damascus grind in 2026. Happy grinding. Thank me later.
