Sofi personal loan to pay off CC debt

I took a big pay cut and had to switch jobs about 1.5 years ago. I racked up 12k in CC debt with the interest rates being between 19-29%. The interest is brutal. pros and cons to getting a personal loan to pay off the CC debt and then paying off that person loan quicker than I would the CC loan?

Let the games begin

Let the games begin

I just wrote out all of my debts after dreading so for years. Total debt - $92,303 (highest total was $110k+). The following are all of my debts:

Capital one - $5,196

Discover - $6302

Citadel - $422

Sallie Mae - $18,646

Sallie Mae - $13,437

Sallie Mae - $2,567

Nelnet AB - $2,259

Nelnet AI - $21,448

Nelnet AE - $5,126

Nelnet AF - $2,200

Nelnet AG - $5,109

Nelnet AH - $2,081

Nelnet AC - $4,240

Nelnet AA - $3,270

I’m starting with the three credit cards then the rest are student loans. Any advice? I’m doing the avalanche method because I need to pay the CC’s off first. I can’t wait to post in ten years when all of these are zero!

Trip in May 2027

Hey everyone! My wife and I are huge Disney fans and want to take our daughter in May of 2027 since she will still be free. We also plan on having a newborn by then / hoping the newborn will have their two month vaccines.

I finally convinced my wife that doing Disney with two little ones, in the summer, would be awful so I’m thinking mid May will be our best bet (our anniversary is 5/31 so we could combine it all).

My question is really looking for advice of how to survive Disney with two little ones / any tips or tricks to making the experience magical would be great!

I’ll be in the market for a new car soon as my current car is on its last leg. I’ve had my current car for over 10 years and bought it when I was in college. When I was in high school, my dad promised me his Nissan Altima and he would buy a new car but my sister totaled the car. Ever since then, I’ve always wanted to own one and now I feel like the time is right. When I began googling about them, I saw lots of people say how bad the transmissions can be? Has anybody found this to be true? I have a 2015 ford fiesta that has a slipping transmission so not super excited about buying a car that might have transmission issues.
