Premed Course Selection Advice

Hi everyone! I’m wondering what courses I should take as a freshman as I got a 4 in AP Chem and 5s on Calc AB/BC.

Should I take applied chem (pretty sure that class combines both chem 1&2 into a semester and it’s difficult) or should i take chem 1 and chem 2 and forfeit ap credits? I’m okay with either, but im unsure how “hard” applied chem is.

Should i take calc 3? I think this is pretty reasonable, but some say to take calc 1 & 2 again and get high gpas in those classes. Arent intro level courses like calc 1 and chem 1/2 weed-out?

I just want some opinions. Thanks so much for all the advice in advance!!

Edit: pls lmk who are the best profs 🙏

Should I get a single or double? Im going to jhu which is kinda viewed as a antisocial school w ppl all focused on academics. Im kinda an introvert but i want to make friends in college and ik getting a roommate is a great way to do that. But then again i like my time on my own and my own space because im a very organized and clean person. And suggestions?

Can anyone explain what coffee chats are and the importance of them in making connections and getting opportunities? Is it literally an in-person chat or can it be virtual? How do they help land internships at companies like Amazon for example?
