Buffering issues with remux
Friend has a server and just added some remux. All the normal non remux stuff and 1080P remux works fine, no buffering. Remux 4k stuff buffers really bad. My phone is fine with 4k remux, no issues at all.
Spec:
TV: XR65A80J (OS: Android 12)
Plex: 10.30.8.4222
- Tried on the tv: Ethernet, WiFi and bought a USB 3 to Ethernet. Buffers on all of them.
- Checked and is direct play and not transcode
- Turned off subtitles.
- Tried swapping audio from 7.1 to 5.1
- Cleared app cache.
- Set router to prioritise streaming media and set TV to this category.
- Netflix network checker shows around 250mbs.
I am pretty much out of ideas. I don't want to go and spend heaps on something like an Nvidia Shield. Hopefully there is something I have missed or a low cost option.
