I'm almost there for the immersion.

Hi,

I decided to replace my Odyssey G9 with Odyssey Neo G8 MiniLED triple screens.

I have to say, in terms of feel and immersion, it's so much better. Afterwards, I thought about making a template to create a roof, and it was fabulous! It feels like we're in a car now. It sounds silly, but a piece of cardboard above the screens can make all the difference.

All that's left is to add some kind of curtains to the sides of the screens and some panels, and then I think it'll be great :).

I'm sharing a short video with you. ✌️

Hey,

Can I drive around or will I end up in jail? 🤣

  • Triple screen Odyssey Neo G8 Mini LED setup, 130°

  • Curved screen setting: 1000R in iRacing settings.

  • ASUS ROG Bezel Free Kit

  • Temporary cardboard roof.

What are your settings?

Hi,

I spent hours and days assembling and setting up my rig, taking advice, and learning on my own. Just the triple screen setup was a nightmare... same for assembling the SimLab P1X Pro rig.

I thought it would be simple, but no, you have to be determined and invest time and effort, both in terms of assembly and budget 🤣...

Besides, I think everyone can build their dream rig if you put in the effort; it can be within everyone's reach. I believe that a quality rig is expensive to buy but will last a long time, at least that's what I think.

Upcoming modifications: Simucube base, Heusinkveld pedals, QS-BT1 dynamic belt system. After that, I think it will be finished, for now 🤣.

I'm a happy sim racer, cheers ✌️

Hi everyone,

After adjusting my monitors to a 130° tilt (Asus bezel kit coming soon), I wanted to know if my FOV is correct?

130° is much more immersive than the aperture I had before, which was around 160/170°.

Show me your FOV! 💪

Hi, I bought the ASUS ROG frame kit and had to adjust the tilt angle of my triple monitor setup as recommended by ASUS. I had to reduce it to 130 degrees, which is the minimum for the frame kit to work.

Initially, as you can see in the second picture, I was at around 160/170 degrees. At 130 degrees, it's a little disorienting at first, but during a race, it's actually more immersive and you get used to it quickly. Once I install the frame kit, I think it will be perfect.

What monitor settings are you using?
