Help - Fake delivery to my Parent's place

Hi all,

This is the usual scam by Amazon where they mark an item as delivered but we never got the item. This happened to my parents in Chennai and they both are senior citizens.

As usual Amazon customer care doesn't own up and blutter the usual BS. Posting on X/twitter yielded only a template response.

Can someone please help with any escalation matrix, I wanted to write a strong email to them.

Also, I have asked my dad and mom to use only cash on delivery going forward.

Thanks 🙏

I was at the Chennai Airport yesterday waiting in line to board my flight to Pune. This is an example I am quoting and this applies to all over India.

  1. They ask to board according to zones so that passengers towards the rear get in first. The moment they said "Indigo flight to Pune", people scrambled and were flocking near the gate

  2. As I waited in line, two guys (not related/together) were pretending to be busily looking at their phones and joined from somewhere in between. They both were carrying some quality branded luggage. One was using a Samsung Zfold (7?) and the other a classic iphone 17 pro max in Orange.

On a closer look, I saw that the Zfold guy scrolling thru reels and the iphone guy was making some air gestures with a digital copy of his boarding pass.

I didn't actually peek or shoulder surf but I was able to make out with just a glimpse

  1. The guy just behind me was pushing me every time the queue moved. He did it a few times and I turned back and asked him to pass. I also told him that he was pushing. He moved ahead without an ounce of regret. The best part is 4 to 5 other guys tagged along with him. I was like WTF.

This is the same behaviour where other vehicles tail an ambulance to go faster.

We would NEVER become Vishwaguru or Vikasit Bharat unless we first cleanse our own selves.

/end of rant
