My friend asked me to see what Reddit thinks about the attached/below. So pls direct any negative comments towards him and not me. THANKS!

Friend: “I went to a card show recently and a vendor had to leave early, but he offered me a S227 / S-P card for $2,000, still sealed. I haven’t seen one of these in person before, so I wanted to get some input from the community before moving forward.

He’s offering to do the transaction through PayPal, with a $500 deposit upfront and the remaining balance due after I receive the card.

Does this sound legit? Has anyone here dealt with similar setups or seen this card sell around this price? Just trying to make sure I’m not missing any red flags before pulling the trigger.
