Rising international sophomore at a T10, trying to optimize chances for FT MBB recruiting and wondering where to intern sophomore summer.
Prev experience home country includes: big 4 strategy arm consulting freshman internship, LMM PE firm pre freshman internship
Now aiming for F500 strategy internship for soph summer.
Should I intern at any random F500 company Finance/Ops/Sales since strategy internships r very RARE and IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND.

Nobody really talks about how CFS recruiting works. For someone interested in finance/PE/consulting, how brutal is the recruiting and how well polished should the resume be?
For MBB FT recruiting in the end of junior year, can I still keep my pre freshman internship which was at an LMM PE firm. I’m also adding my freshman internship, a semester internship, sophomore summer as well but this pre freshman internship is very strong.
For MBB junior summer recruiting I had kept it.
what I heard from a couple friends in consulting is that they despise undergrads who look youthful.
No client wants to pay millions of dollars to be advised by a 22 year old with no life experience. This is why MBB prefers older looking consultants.
Any truth to this?

Mckinsey is set to open applications on Feb 20, 2027 with a March 29 deadline for undergrad SBA.
I don’t get my updated GPA till March 23 and my GPA is too low to apply before that. Although I make it in time for the deadline, the applications are supposed to be rolling with interview slots filling up left and right as and when students apply. The later u apply, the lesser ur chances apparently.
This is so pissing off. They are recruiting so much in advance and not even respecting the deadline. They should not start reviewing applications until after the deadline. Why even make a deadline if u wanna cheat all students??
why have men evolved to be creatures with such an attraction for women with fat. most men i have asked do not like women with abs or visible bones. they said they need some a huge round derriere with some cellulite and huge breasts that slightly sag.

With those timelines, there are just two possible rooms for summer internships on resumè - 1. freshman summer and 2. summer before coming to uni.
Can I include both these on my resumè if they were some big firms in my home country in finance and consulting (i’m international looking to get recruited MBB USA)?

my grades for junior year spring come out like after 2.5 weeks but if the apps are open and I apply, will they accept it?
Apparently, non NU affiliated study abroad doesn’t count towards URR. Does that mean 32 credits or 45 credits?
if they do not count toward the 45 credits, I will literally be losing a quarter in Spain this fall.

Also, I’m on a quarter system school and will be done by WAY by Jan 20th but school stafts Jan 1 so I sacrifice the entire quarter till April 1?
Will I get equivalent credits or is 3 week too short to get a semester equivalent credit?
