Of current I have a Lenovo Legion 5 with specs of AMD Ryzen 7 5800H CPU, RTX 3060 Laptop GPU with 16GB ram and a total of 1500GB storage. It has done me well over the years but some of the ports don't work anymore and some keys have stopped working, it's basically a portable PC for my of current. I am looking to get a PC build which is a good enough leap in performance over this to replace as a real desktop.

Also I do want honest opinions if it's worth to upgrading in the current climate with RAM prices and such if it's really smart for me to upgrade now. I know prices may not ever go down to how they were but I also don't want to spend a crazy amount for minimal performance upgrade/longevity. For reference I bought this laptop a few years ago for around 1.2k inc the storage and ram upgrades

  • New build or upgrade?

Looking for a new build

  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links)

I already have a mouse and keyboard as well as 1 monitor (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Alienware-AW2521HFA-Compatible-DisplayPort-Adjustable/dp/B08NFCG6TX)

  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games)

Multipurpose mainly gaming but would also be using applications such as ClipStudio paint and Blender from time to time

  • Purchase country?

UK

  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate)

I would buy another monitor to go alongside the one I have currently. Refresh rate minimum 144hz, 240hz would be nice if it fits into the budget. Resolution 1440p would be great if it fits the budget but 1080p is fine also. Size 24 or 27 inch is fine.

  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations)

Ideally something around £1000 would be ideal however if needed I can budge if the difference in performance is worth the investment

  • WiFi or wired connection?

Likely to only have access to a wireless connection for the time being or a powerline cable so would need a Wifi connection option and wired for when I eventually can use ethernet.

  • Size/noise constraints?

Would prefer something small and quite but wouldn't want something so small if it would hinder future upgrades. Noise would like not have something roaring on my table for sure.

  • Color/lighting preferences?

A black case for sure if it's possible within the budget. Not too fused about lighting but if there's options with leds which allow for them to turn pink or purple would be cool, again isn't a deal breaker if not

  • Any other specific needs?

Healthy amount of ports especially USB C and display port. I like to have my controllers plugged in on their docks on my setup so would love the ports to be accomadating.

Baity title but I remember when I first got into this game I looked at the wiki and compared to something like a dusty loop GGST wiki it just didn't compare. I came back looking again recently and it still felt mostly the same. I wondered why is that then I came to the realisation the wiki will never get good unless we as a community help to contribute. For those on this sub who like this game truly and want to see it succeed into the future if you can help out on the wiki whether it's posting combo routes, enders, helping with starter guides or even uploading videos for combo's already on the wiki every little helps!

There's barely any documentation on this game for combos online, when new people want to engage in the game having a good wiki is just another thing which will help players stay having that resource to get the head start in understanding the game and not having to pause gameplay vods or scroll through twitter to find some combo ideas.

This game will live or die depending on how the community holds it down, Riot devs aren't going to be updating the Wiki that's on us to keep it updated and develop it into another great tool to get beginners into the game.
