Good Alternative to Mega Malamar?

Good Alternative to Mega Malamar?

I kept seeing this guy talk about using Toucannon on a team and I wanted to give it a shot. The only problem is I just really don’t like Mega Malamar especially in theory on this team. Tripling down on the same weaknesses across all my mons just doesn’t sit well with me here, I was wondering if there was a good alternative to run in that slot instead. I think my team would need a fighting type move like superpower or close combat but idk who does that in a similar speed tier and without killing the synergy.

Pokémon Gold Version for Game Boy Color

Got this from a friend who said it was his dad’s, I don’t think it’s legit but I figured I’d double check. If real is it better to play it on a GBA or GB Color?

CPU at 100% When opening apps on new driver (Nvidia)

I just installed the new drivers (for me at the time of posting this is version 610.74) and my cpu is absolutely exploding in usage whenever I open an app. I don’t know how to fix it, I’ve got a GeForce 5060. I used marvel rivals to test but it’s also happening with my browser and dbd. Someone please help

New Team I’m Working On

I posted a little while ago here about a Mega Dragalge team I made and how to fix it and while ultimately there were some good ideas there, there wasn’t a great way to fix the team without almost entirely dismantling what I had. So to avoid those problems I’m doing a separate team from scratch, wanted to focus on some under-appreciated megas and see how well they do when put to the test against the meta. I’m sure plenty of you can see the flaws in this team I can so once again I am asking you for help in the building phase, what can I fo to make this team better. Rather than focusing on raw speed stats, tailwind or trick room. I decided that I wanted to be able to flip speed control as I needed, corviknight and chandelure give me that. I can use chandelure to either turn on or off trick room as needed plus it actually allows corviknight to be faster than many setters which pairs well with tailwind. I’m not crippling myself by bringing one or another but playing into the strengths of their well complimented speed stats. Besides that I like Starmie as a sorta off meta psuedo-swampert. Higher damage at the cost of many more weaknesses so I paired it with meowscarada who has almost all flipped resistances from starmie, plus with U-Turn a quick escape tool into a once again heavier hitting starmie who will deal with meowscaradas problems pretty easily. I think the underrated fun of this team though is empoleon, competitive allows it to run into annoying stat dropping pokemon like incin and come out for the better. But I really like the idea of scary face on it, the goal is he’s gonna be my guy I’m bringing when I need someone who functions in both tailwind and TR, in tailwind he can hit pretty fast surfs for stab and deal a decent amount of damage but in TR I can ideally use him to lower my own Pokémon’s speed to outspeed in TR. it also allows me to keep mega blaziken from getting too fast with speed boost. The major problem is my 6th slot, I like maushold for its ghost immunity into basculegion and a bit of redirection just in general. That being said it doesn’t really play into any plan of mine and feels almost like a wasted slot. Items and moves are not fully decided on so changes are welcome.

I Don’t Know How To Fix My Mega Dragalge Team

I know people say that when you start out you should just take a team you like and use it until you get comfortable but I thought that was super lame so I spent a couple of weeks working on a team only to end up with this. Scizor originally also had its mega stone but I took it off him cause It kept preventing me from bringing him with Dragalge into matchups I needed both. I tried sableye with rain dance and protect instead of fake out but rain dance usually leaves me open to having my whole team be swept by M.swampert or archaludon. I trained incin to be bulky but quite frankly I really need the damage and fire stab instead cause otherwise gholdengo and metagross have an absolute field day. I just dunno what to do, I thought I had it all planned out. I know at this point grimmsnarl and kingambit are better options than my scizor and sableye but I’d really like to keep them if I could but idk how to make them work. This entire team barely functions outside of trick room and just doesn’t if I don’t bring scizor for bullet punch. I was thinking maybe scarf max speed hisui arcanine could take the place of incin cause I have fake out and physical damage reduction already cause of sableye. It would also give me an answer to the steel types my team sucks against and an option for more speed control outside trick room with espeed. I tried hisui typhlosion but it ends up being too many special attackers in a special bulky meta. But at the end of the day I still can’t hit ghost types and they wipe my 2 setters. Idk what to do. Any suggestions? The Dragalge agenda must be maintained
