Ok, I’ve been in a reading slump for a while and am really trying to find a new series. I’ve read Fourth Wing, Dragonriders of Pern, and the first book of Eragon. I liked the military academy concept and romance of Fourth Wing and the structure of the Weyrs in Pern, but I really struggled with the second book of Eragon.

I also can’t seem to read/finish books with MMCs anymore, which is making it hard to find.

Does anyone have any recommendations that are magical rider academies with FMCs and maybe a little romance? It doesn’t have to be dragons or spicy.

Hi, just wondering if there’s any books that combine these tropes:
- Vampire x Werewolf
- Werewolf bites kill vampire (like in TVD)
- Werewolves bite to mark their mate

Bonus if the forbidden romance aspect is played up.

I haven’t been able to really find these specific tropes together and would love to hear if anyone has any suggestions.
