Powerscaling this manga has genuinely ruined characters for me

when I first read jjk, I never browsed the jjk reddit. I had watched season 1 right before hidden inventory aired, got obsessed and read the whole manga in one day (gojo vs sukuna was just starting if I remember correctly) I actually quite liked kashimo as a character, thinking he had a cool motif and ability set.
craving more jjk content while waiting for new seasons and chapters, I stumbled onto the main jjk subs. it was alright. I thought people thinking Gojo would win or was stronger were kinda dumb because narratively that makes no sense. Then gege pulled the off screener, and the fanbase became lobotomized to never before seen degrees.
then came MBA kashimo. and holy shit, what horrible writing. horrible portrayal of a “strongest” character. I thought he would be memed like crazy, especially after the whole buildup. but… huh??? yeah there was some of that, but there were also people were saying he beats gojo and sukuna (even though he just lost to a not trying sukuna)??? even on the tamer end people were putting him top 3-6. I never even cared about rankings before but this genuinely made me so angry. most of us know kashimo has no impressive HH feats.
kashimo fans genuinely made me associate this character with them and I completely hate him for it. seeing shitshimo slander literally makes my day better and makes me happier. I laugh everytime I see some stupid meme saying get him past Dagon first or whatever. But I have to thank kashimo fans, the enjoyment I got from kashimo as a character will never compare to the enjoyment I get from people hating on him
