Need advice on hairstyles and products for thick, curly hair before I cut it off

I've honestly just been getting a little overwhelmed when I'm here lately and I've been wanting to grow it out and soon I'll be able to put it on 20 20. So yeah maybe I should cut it. I don't know any advice on products or hairstyles would be great. Thank you

I don't know what to do?

My hair is very thick and wavy/ curly. I am growing it out but I'm almost at the point where I wanna just go back to getting fades. Before that I want to get y'all's advice. What should I do next? I really don't want to just cut it all off but I'm starting to look like a caveman.
