Am I wrong for using my hairdryer in the mornings

I recently moved into an HMO house share (not a room share) and I wake up at 6am to go to work. My house mates (mixture of student and unemployed) wake up between 9am and early afternoon every day.

I'm a guy with medium length hair that looks utter shite unless I style it with a hairdryer every morning. I already deliberately skip using the hair dryer if I leave early (7am). But even if I'm leaving a few hours later and using the hairdryer at say 8:30, they still seem to get pissed off.

Am I wrong for using my hairdryer on the quietest setting in the mornings...?

Is it rude to ask someone to switch seat on a train?

I was sitting on a train waiting to depart London, every pair of seats was taken by a single person. A couple got on and it looked to me like the guy suggested each of them sit in an isle seat next to a stranger.

His partner appeared to make a fuss about that, after which the guy interrupted someone with a double seat to ask if they'd move and sit next to someone so he could sit with his partner.

The guy reluctantly agreed to move - the train would eventually fill up all seats anyway.

I can't help but feel that was pretty cheeky to ask, and I'm not sure if this makes me a petty bastard but I would have been inclined to say get lost!

All other trails seem boring compared to WHW

I did WHW in 4 days last August and I loved it. I've been looking for something else in the UK for this summer (potentially something more grand - I graduate in June but my new job doesn't start until September)

However all the trails just seem a little lackluster compared to WHW, at least looking at their photos. I think I also loved talking to people along the way, the social atmosphere at some of the campsites etc.

Did anyone else feel the same way after WHW? I'm not sure I want to do the exact same hike again though. Maybe I could combine the WHW with Cape Wrath trail - I'd have a mix of the more social and familiar trail, and the tough / remote Cape Wrath straight after

How busy is Cape Wrath in August?

I'm curious to know how busy the Cape Wrath trail gets during summer months. Is it really so remote that you rarely see other people? Is there usually space in the bothies? (I'm a horrendous snorer so if there's other people, I think I'd better sleep elsewhere...)
