Hi! I am planning on commuting to gsu (atl campus) and have heard that parking at the CC deck and the blue lot is free for students when you register your vehicle. How exactly does the CC deck free parking work? At the entrance, there appears to be a kiosk that asks for a ticket...I was unsure of what to do...do I scan my panthercard?

Additionally, where do students catch the red line shuttle to campus? Is it up the street?

I start my PhD this August right out of undergrad, and unfortunately it is a field that is often self-funded. Therefore, I am not given a stipend that is enough to pay for living in the city (or to pay for anything really). My family lives nearby the school, so I plan to live at home during the first year to get my footing. I feel deeply embarrassed about living at home, but am unsure if I will be able to balance a job on top of school and GA role. Is this common? I would love some advice. Thanks.
