installed a new escape wheel after finding out it had a worn pivot do everything else seems fine do you guys think this is a hairspring problem

When I bought these watches they were all beat up some weren’t even running. I learned a lot restoring them to the best of my ability, this is after 6 months of hunting.

Working on getting this 6309 running and i’ve noticed that the escape wheel slips with pallet fork releasing all of the power into the drivetrain. have you guys experience this before? and what can i do here? actually start taking apart the movement and see if the escape wheel is seated properly between the jewels?
