I got admitted today.It was a very stupid mistake to not look for scholarships before.Maybe I didn't realise I can get the letter.Now I am wondering what scholarships I can apply now besides DAAD.

I have stuttered since childhood, but I remember it not being this intense before. I can tell that my anxiety became much stronger after the age of 13, and since then my stuttering also got worse.

When I am alone, I can speak about 98% fluently. During periods when I feel more confident, I can also speak around 97% fluently with friends. For example, if I need to order something and another person is with me, I usually do not stutter much or at all.

I also notice that I stutter less when I teach someone something. I worked as a tutor for some time, and during teaching I often spoke much more fluently.

There was also a period of about two and a half months when I barely stuttered in almost any situation. At that time, I was taking antidepressants. During that period, I could call strangers, introduce myself, and speak in different languages without major problems.

My stuttering clearly becomes worse during periods of anxiety and stress. Then the stuttering itself creates even more stress, which makes the cycle continue.

Because of this, I wonder:

Was that fluent period caused by the antidepressants?

Would combining antidepressants with CBT and speech therapy help maximize the effect and make the fluency more stable?

Is it possible for the improvement to remain even after stopping antidepressants?

Could there be another cause behind my stuttering, or is this a common experience for many people who stutter?

Or something in the brain causes mine?(I guess I am hoping to find something in the brain to explain this and fix it)
