S07 EP:23 - Just some thoughts and questions

Firstly did anyone else feel sorry for Erin when her and Micheal on his last day. Like she finally got a dad figure just for him to leave shortly after

Secondly, even though I’ve watched this show countless times since it aired, I only found out recently that Steve’s contract wasn’t renewed. I always thought he left at his own terms. So during the song everyone sang to him and the scene where Jim said bye, do you think the tears by Steve and John were real?

Thirdly. When Pam went to say bye to Michael, she still had her mic on so how come we didn’t get to hear their conversation. I know they did that on purpose but realistically we should’ve been able to hear them
