No sound from speakers after disconnecting 12V battery (2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid)

My cars 12V battery (located in the trunk) died and I disconnected it to recharge it with another battery. After connecting the battery back again, my audio system stopped working completely.

The head unit powers on and looks normal (radio/display works), but there is no sound at all from any speakers, it is completely silent, not even static.

I did a hard reset and nothing changed, I’ve also checked the AMP, RADIO and DOME fuses and they are reading good. The battery terminals seem tight and secure.

I want to add:

  1. I have an aftermarket screen ( Sony xav avx3250 )installed in my car.
  2. My original OEM 12V battery was extremely discharged so I had to replace it with another battery.

Does anyone know what could be wrong ? I’m fresh out of ideas.
