Ending/Climax Question

I just did get the last information from Kaleidoscope and the second I travel back to Portofiro, the leaves fall down from the big tree, which means that I need to kill the Lich now.

My problem is that I still have so much else to do, for the man with no heart, Ignatz, Ramses, exploring the silo and much more.

My question is, can I still do all those things and ignore the tree for now or should I reload a save before I got the last information from Kaleidoscope, as I want to wrap things up before the big kill?

Are most Voice Lines missing or is my game bugged?

The more I play the game, the fewer voice lines I get. There are sometimes Cascade having some voicelines, where most of my counterparts are just silent.

Help me understand EXERT

I am pretty new to the game.

I found out that if I use this option without EXERT, I'll get no fatigue when failing, but the option will be locked from then on.

Another option is to use EXERT to roll 3 dice and ignore the lowest. But this costs 5 Fatigue (red one in my example). Even if it's a success, it costs 5 fatigue.

Here's my first question. When I fail, do I get an extra 5 fatigue? So does EXERT risk to get 10 fatigue with a failure, and 5 with success, vs no fatigue at all when not using it? Or is it always 5 fatigue when success/failure with EXERT

Is it even worth risking EXERT, spending fatigue for such "small" things like investigating a plushie?

Or should I always leave those for later and come back when I have more than a 50-50 chance?

I even had some with chances around 20%. I left those for later and didn't take the risk yet. Or should I always go and try?

Nerve window not going away

I have this NERVE window from a previous conversation, and it's not going away. I tried to reload, restart, etc., but it's in every single conversation.

How do I get rid of this? Do I have to restart the game?

Edit:

All my old saves and autosaves have this problem. Do I really need to restart because of this bug?

Compiler still feels impossible as a Crew Fill + some Looking For Crews after a 230 hours grind

I read threads here weeks ago, from "casuals" claiming to have less than 100 hours and managed to clear Compiler, with some looking for crews. So I tried my luck.

After a 230-hour grind, I managed to get many vault keys. I played Outpost all week long and Cryo all weekend long. I hit redroom over 100 times in the past 6 weeks in Pinwheel and never saw a Vault 06 key in my life!

So I decided to clear as many Vault's as possible on Cryo and start looking for crews when I have some DNA. I managed to get subroutines for 1-5 and managed to get 4 DNA access cards in weeks of grinding.

I started looking for crews in the official Marathon Discord and attempting Compiler with 2 different groups. The first group wasn't it so I looked for a second. The second one was very chill, but we lost the first DNA on the very last team, and the second got activated but was then stolen by another team. They just reached the Compiler before us and managed to close the door. Last DNA gone.

I grinded weeks for Cryo keys and DNA, more than 150 hours just concentrating on getting Vault keys and running Cryo. I haven't seen Compiler once in my playtime, and I have nothing left. I am tired, Boss. Crew Fill became impossible, because it's only free kits with blue shields trying the map once per day, since we got them freebies daily, and looking for crews is also impossible, because I have nothing left to offer. It does feel a little frustrating, and I am saying this as someone who has over 1k hours on EFT.

I love Marathon PvP, but I am so burnt out from grinding for weeks without getting a glimpse at the compiler once. It does suck. Rant over.

The only thing I dislike so far is how super fast you run/walk in Zero Parades

My only complaint. It just breaks the immersion for me every time my character goes for a run. What felt like a real world in Disco Elysium that your character was traversing feels like a sprint in Zero Parades. Disco Elysium made it feel like you were controlling a real human being, while Zero Parade feels very much like every other gaming experience.

I have no idea why your character runs like Usain Bolt through this beautifully crafted world. I wanna spend time in this world, let it sink in, not rush through it.

I hope there will be some kind of toggle for a more realistic running/walking speed.

"Why you gotta be so rude?" I love Marathon PvP!

The team that tried to 3rd party us got dunked. Absolutely loving Marathon PvP!

Edit:
Here’s the full fight for all the comments saying we were stomping noobs on Perimeter.

We just cleaned up our first fight when this team swooped in and quickly downed me with a double snipe. My teammate bubbled me, and I managed to self-res and use my only panacea kit, which allowed me to quickly re-engage. When my team got a kill, the enemy team played the same bubble self-res meta we did, which is why I pushed in so quickly.

As you can see, this destroyer was not a noob at all, and he was moving! He nearly managed to 1 vs 3 our team, but luckily, the bubble they threw earlier saved our butts.

I have 200+ hours, and my friend has 400+. Our Perimeter lobbies are mostly Sniper/Bubble/Signal Jammer sweatfests, with most players being geared to the teeth. I managed to get 2 gold shields in 200+ hours and lost them both yesterday. No regrets!

I just posted these 9 seconds here on Reddit because it was my most comical kill in 200+ hours. We’re getting stomped a lot in Marathon, but sometimes we’re the ones doing the stomping. Enjoy!

Please increase Vault 06 drop chance at the end of season

I opened red room in Pinwheel about 50 times now. I don't even touch that stupid 02 key anymore. It feels like work without any reward. I am tired boss.
