Adding diy isometrics to my sandbag practice

Not technically sandbag related, but have to show off my diy overcoming isometrics setup. Deadlifts, rows, 'bench' presses...stronger tendons, here i come!

Success with the 150!

Got this beast on monday, anytime I was in the garage I'd lift it off the floor once. Tonight, to the lap and stood up, hey look at that I got it on the stool!

Ground to stool 1 rep going forward....

S23ultra no voicemail icon

Wife's s23ultra works fine, voicemail icon shows up, visual voicemail works.

Mine, neither works. I've cleared caches and data for both the phone app and the voicemail app. Still doesn't work.

I'm on android version 16 and oneui v8, she's on android 15 and oneui v7.

Any usmobile people have a clue what could be going on?

Observations and progress with the 150

There's my 1st goal with the new 150 - get it up onto that stool.

First lift - dang thats harder to get my hands under than the 100. Lifted about an inch off the floor.

Next couple attempts - hey a little higher! Gotta take the wedding ring off before getting hands under.

Last couple tries - got it to my lap, more or less. Hmm, should I try standing up? Eh, not yet, drop it onto the floor. Definitely pacing myself on this.

Pic of it on the stool, coming...soon,-ish?

Big brother showed up today

One guy, I pick up and walk with, toss up onto my shoulder, feel pretty comfortable with.

The heavier guy, doesn't even look that much bigger, but yeah, so far it's come up maybe an inch off the floor.

100 lb'er felt really tough at first, but quickly progressed to more or less 'easy'. Soon 150 pounds will be there too, woo-hoo!

Love the sandbags!

Focus on just bag for 3 months?

62 male, never been consistent at working out until recently, when I've been doing kettlebells and heavy clubs for a couple months. Feels so good building strength, just great. Can really feel and see it in my shoulders and core. Well not so visible in the core given the light flab lol.

Just got my 100lb bag, done a few bear hug walks, gotten to shoulder a time or two. Like the feel of it for sure.

So I'm thinking of concentrating on the bag only for the next few months; bag to shoulder, bear hug walks and box squats, and dropping clubs and bells for that period. Feels like it would lead to big all around strength gain, and maybe (gasp) looking at the 150lb bag after those 3 months.

Any thoughts?

Just got my first bag

Filled up my 100lb freedomstrength bag, this thing is no joke! First day goal was to just pick it up a few times, get to chest height. Going to be a while before it can make it to my shoulder. I can tell already it's going to be a great addition to my kettlebell and heavy club work.
