Searching for an Aftermarket/Replacement illuminator Part
Hey guys, this is my first post here; so sorry if I've broken any of the unwritten rules please let me know and I'll edit/delete this post.
I recently picked up a vintage Olympus FHA microscope with various objectives and a phase contrast consenser, so have been having a blast with the bright field but I've been struggling to get the phase contrast working.
I suspect I'm missing a critical part in the illuminator setup which is preventing proper phase contrast illuminator. Below (or or above, depending if you're on desktop or mobile) I've included some pictures of the part I think I'm missing, as well as my own unit - sans the part.
I've found the documentation on the FHA and the FH line in general is pretty lacking online. So I'm not even sure what this part is called, making searching for an after market replacement pretty tricky.
So I thought I'd reach out to the sub that inspired me to take up this hobby - any help on this search will be greatly appreciated!
