Linen dial

This is THE old style Rolex in my eyes.

I remember my friend's dad having one and it was the first time I saw a Rolex.

I didn't know the term Trojancat before.

She came to our house like a Kinder surprise.

I suppose she won her entry ticket

She came to us a few days ago

This cat came to our house like a 3-4 days ago asking for company. We noticed his belly so installed a case in front of the house (not sure if it's someone's cat or not).

Today when I wake up, I saw her with two kitties. A third one around 1pm and a 4th around 5pm.

I saw my neighbor digging in his garden during the night.

It was around 1 AM and I was about to go to bed when I heard some noise outside. I just installed a robot lawn mower that cost me an arm and a leg, so I’m definitely on high alert.

I put on my slippers and went outside. Seeing there was light in my neighbor’s garden, I felt reassured about my mower and was about to head back inside but that repetitive noise coming from the other garden had me curious.

I recognized the sound and wanted to figure out what it was. It was the sound of a shovel moving dirt around.

As weird as it may sound, I suddenly remembered that he might’ve seen me digging a hole in my garden at 10 PM a few years ago too. I had found my kids’ cat after it had been hit by a car and I didn’t want them to see the cat in that condition. I chuckled to myself and went back inside.

Past 2 AM, I was heading to bed and doing a quick check around the house to make sure everything was locked up. I noticed he was still out there digging. I’ve buried several cats in that garden over the years and even a sheep. I’ve never had to dig for an hour and a half even for the sheep.

I watched him for a good 20 minutes. He stopped digging and disappeared for a few moments before coming back with a wheelbarrow. It was loaded with... I don’t even know what but it was definitely full. Whatever was in it was completely wrapped in either a trash bag or a black tarp, I’m not sure. It wasn’t the size of a cat but it didn’t have the shape of a human either.

He tossed it into the hole and then I went back inside because I had the feeling he was looking toward our house.

His son goes to the same school as my kids. His wife doesn’t work so she’s always the one taking him in the morning. In four years, I’d say I’ve maybe seen him do the school run two or three times. I don’t pay that much attention but I know we pretty much leave the house for school at the same time every morning.

I got to the school this morning and had already half-forgotten about what happened during the night. But when I saw him standing in front of the school saying goodbye to his son, it literally sent chills down my spine.

It’s probably just a coincidence but I can’t stop thinking about it. And now it’s the weekend, so I can’t even check if she’ll be at school tomorrow.

My plan is to just make nothing and wait till Monday. What do you think?
