Trapped on tiny backcountry delta road by Waze

Fighting traffic coming back home after the fourth weekend, Waze reroute me to I5 then to a tiny backcountry Road on the Delta. I’m now trapped in a multi mile line of cars on a road that probably doesn’t see this many cars in a month.

I’ve been a huge fan of Waze for so many years, but Epic fail of the Waze algorithm to shove hundreds of cars on this tiny little road.

Advice on picking a gradual mixing valve/cartridge

The mixing valve in our kitchen sink goes from cool to scalding hot with very little adjustment. It’s nearly impossible to get just warm or kind of hot. How do I find a faucet with a ‘wide’ adjustment area that gradually goes from cold to warm to hot?
Is there a certain brand or technology (type of cartridge or disk?) I look for?

What am I doing wrong here

This was supposed to prevent the 3am low battery chirping, but at roughly 3am this morning (why do the batteries always run low in the middle of the night???) I got the chirping, my dog was totally freaked out as he always is, and he’s trying to exit the house in a panic….

What do I need to do differently?
