I believe this is kind of my first official fit pic aside from shoes and boots lol

But I’m really just posting for anyone thinking about taking the Hamilton plunge lol

Maybe it’s just me but the barracuda sizing and the made in uk vs not made in uk ….. it kept me from jumping b/c I really don’t like dealing with returns so I didn’t want to get stuck with something I wasn’t gonna wear

Mr Porter had a sale nice enough that I took the chance and damn I love this thing right away

It’s NOT a look I thought I could really pull off without looking like a twat so I hope I’m not failing too miserably b/c this thing is fantastic in every way lol

I can see more in my future

Finally picked up shoe trees for all of my shoes and boots

I’ve never been good at keeping my things stored correctly I just wear them and toss them into the corner lol

Made a resolution to get shoe trees and everybody and get everyone cleaned up really nice to demonstrate some kind of pride of ownership

Got all of my shoes and boots together

Gonna place trees and get everybody cleaned up and I will try and post some photos when I have done so

I’ve never had them all together like this so I grabbed some quick shots to share

Was considering sending back to Alden for a makeover - I’m assuming that is a service still offered (?)

How do I tell if a loafer is unlined when checking out the seconds on shoemart site ?

This may be a silly question but I honestly don’t know how I can tell from just the pics on the site

I have 3 Alden loafers - none of them unlined

I do have a pair of unlined snuff chukkas that I love and I’m looking to pick up some loafers for this summer - unlined

Hoping to find some on the seconds page in my size but I’m a bit flummoxed as to how I can tell from the photos alone

Any guidance would be much appreciated thanks
