I slipped my disk in November by lifting a heavy mattress in a wrong posture but again relapsed two days back. I wanted to get back to sports but was waiting, yesterday I played badminton like good old days and my back got sore, doc said I have relapsed. Will I ever be able to be normal again?

iwtl maths/calculations

I feel so dumb because i’m neither good at math nor calculations. I stick with problems after everyone has moved on from it I pay attention to it but still numbers are not loving me back.

I have stopped studying maths long back and it has affected my logical reasoning as well.

Last night I went on a date and we had a coupon of 20% off, so when the bill came ₹2000 both of us playfully started guessing how much do we need to pay, I said hardly ₹200 will be off and he said ₹400. So we bet on it and obviously it was ₹1600 so I realised why my brain was thinking so illogically it was not in my mind that 400 can be off of it. I was thinking as ₹1000 base which is going to take off 100, so on 2000 20% off = 200.

I can’t stop thinking about how dumb I am, as if my brain freezes.

For all my life I have felt this way for myself and my self esteem is so low because of this.

My dermatologist put me on Spironolactone 100 mg for hairloss I took it for 15 days but I was bleeding every two weeks so I stopped taking it but still there was spotting for a month.

I stopped taking it cold turkey started in the same manner.

I have missed a cycle. How long does it take to get normal?

F25, I was taking finasteride 1 mg/week for almost a year and it actually worked really well for me. My hair fall had reduced a lot and things finally felt stable. But for the past 5 months, the shedding has suddenly become really bad again and it just won’t stop.

My dermatologist increased the dosage, but even after increasing it, I’m still losing hair daily and I feel like it’s not helping anymore. What confuses me is — if finasteride was working before, why would it suddenly stop working now?

My free testosterone levels are normal too, so I’m struggling to understand what changed.

Has anyone had finasteride work initially and then suddenly stop controlling the shedding? Did you figure out the reason behind it?

Hey! I am a 25 F with PCOS and AGA, so my dermatologist prescribed Spiro 100 mg. I started taking it a month ago and within a week, my periods came early.

Then I visited an endocrinologist, who reduced the dose to 50 mg. After a gap of 6 days periods came twice. So, I stopped taking Spiro after being on the medication for 15 days. It’s been 20 days since I stopped, but I am bleeding again for the third time in a month.

Basically I started suddenly and stopped suddenly.

My periods were regular and I want my cycle to go back to normal.
