Is it just a matured hairline or pattern baldness?

Hi everyone,

I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and will be starting my 2nd year in a few weeks.

I have started thinking about GATE preparation early and I'm a bit confused about which paper would be a better choice for me:

GATE DA (Data Science & Artificial Intelligence)

GATE CSE (Computer Science Engineering)

My long-term goal is to keep good opportunities open for M.Tech admissions (IITs/IISc) and placements. I enjoy AI/ML and Data Science, but I also don't want to limit my future options if CSE provides broader opportunities.

I was recently looking at the GATE DA course offered by PW (Physics Wallah), and I'm wondering whether I should:

Start dedicated preparation for GATE DA,

Prepare for GATE CSE instead,

Or build strong fundamentals first and decide later.

A few questions:

Which paper has better opportunities currently: DA or CSE?

Are IITs and IISc giving good weightage to GATE DA scores?

Is it too early to start preparation from 2nd year?

What subjects should I focus on during 2nd year?

Has anyone from an AI & DS branch cracked GATE CSE or GATE DA? What would you recommend?

Is the PW GATE DA course worth taking, or should I wait?

Any advice from seniors, GATE qualifiers, or M.Tech students would be greatly appreciated.
