The Boys (S5) kind of forgets what it is supposed to be

I did like the last season, it's not perfect but it's good, in my opinion.

My only complaint is that the series forgets itself, it forgets that, under all the social commentary, the comedy, the gore and the character arcs, this is a series about superheroes. What I want to see is superheroes using their powers to fuck shit up.

It focuses too much on everything else that it forgets to show heroes fighting villains, or superpowers being used in general. I appreciate the story, but the coolest scenes of S5 to me are the fights in episode 1 and episode 8, and it's a shame that's about all the super fights in the season. Everything else is just people punching each other with super strength.

That's my main criticism, we should have seen more usage of superpowers like in the previous seasons.

What is "fake feminism" to you?

Sometimes, when discussing aspects of Feminism online, a certain answer pops up: "that's not real Feminism, real Feminism is...". This is often used to address feminist beliefs that the person talking doesn't agree with, basically stating that said belief is wrong and strays from what feminism is supposed to be about.

Now, it seems to me that calling something "Fake Feminism" or "Real Feminism", depending on whether one agrees or not, leaves a lot of room for bias, right? It's likely that a lot of different feminists have a lot of different beliefs, and think that their belief is the true feminism and everything else is not.

I might be wrong though, maybe there's a clear distinction between what is considered Feminism and what isn't, so I'm asking you, what are some Feminist beliefs you are vehemently against, to the point you think that are not Feminism at all? Thank you for you answers.

Before someone accuses me of being too vague, I'll list some aspects of Feminism that I've seen most commonly called "fake", as they stray from what Feminism is supposed to be about:

- "Feminists shouldn't care about men's issues under patriarchy, since men make patriarchy, it's not Feminism's responsibility to address this".

- "Men shouldn't have a voice inside Feminist movements, to be allies they should only listen and act as they are told".

- Choice feminism in general, I've noticed it's considered "wrong" by many.

- "It's important to accept trans women into the Feminist movement and fight for their rights too". This in particular is tricky, I've seen it often considered both as "true feminism" and "fake feminism".
