Can somebody explain to me, why the map icons are just jumping around all over the place? It is impossible to know where exactly an enemy ship is located. The "Don"-Tender for example is north of the small red circle in the beginning and in the next few seconds it is somehow supposed to be 20 - 30km south.

I'm on my first playthrough and this boss is the first one that genuinely enrages me. With the amount of different attacks he has in the first stage, I find it difficult to get past it with more than two lives. And don't even get me started on his seeking missiles.

How did you beat him and what is the best sequence to take out his attacks in the first stage?
