Calling all Vailankanni devotees! We just started a dedicated community for Our Lady of Good Health 🙏
Like many of you, Vailankanni has been close to my heart for a long time. But when I actually started planning my visit, I realized something there is so much devotion to Our Lady of Good Health, yet so little practical guidance for pilgrims who are visiting for the first time. No single place where pilgrims share their experiences. No collection of real tips from people who've actually walked those sacred grounds. Just scattered information and unanswered questions. So I started r/VelankanniChurch, a small, humble effort to change that.
The goal is simple: A space where pilgrims past, present, and future can share their tips, memories, prayers, and experiences of Vailankanni. So that every first-time visitor feels guided, prepared, and welcomed before they even arrive.
If you've been to Vailankanni your memories matter here. That one tip you wish someone had told you. That moment at the basilica that moved you to tears. That prayer that got answered. That little restaurant near the shrine. All of it is welcome.
Come be a part of r/VelankanniChurch. Even one comment, one photo, one memory from you could guide a fellow pilgrim's journey. 🕊️ Thank you
Our Lady of Good Health, pray for us 🙏
